USALEARNS.GOV – An Overall Effective ELL Computer-Assisted Tool

The tool www.usalearns.org was implemented to assist a group of Adult ESL learners with their overall basic ESL skills after reviewing the results their ESL Pre-test scores.  The tool proved to be quite effective in enhancing the basic English language skills of the majority of the students in the class.

The effectiveness of the usalearn.gov tool was measured by comparing the scores from the Pre-test with the scores of the Post-test, after constant use in class and at home of the tool over a seven week period.  Statistics of the results of the Pre- and Post-test are included below:
